Isha Pundir was born and raised in New Delhi and Mumbai in India. She raises questions and ig- nites conversations on the contemporary problems of Architecture through her artwork. She is an avant-garde Architect with Virtual Reality as her preferred medium, digital painting and texturing as her tools of expression. Architecture directly influences culture and affects people every day and she thinks it’s a missed opportunity that such few people have an insight into the ongoings of Architecture. She aspires to change the notion of Architecture just as a capitalist, modernist box in the minds of people and open them to the floating questions in the pedagogy of Architecture.

Having worked in corporate Architecture firms, she sees a gap between the contemporary theories of Architecture and the practicing Architects. By showcasing Architecture through art platforms, she hopes to normalise the contemporary theories of Architecture in the minds of people and prac- titioners alike. She uses the Google map’s existing interface to study cities and then uses them as the basis for further exploration in the urban context and existing building masses. She uses con- temporary mapping techniques like Photogrammetry to create copies of the cities, dissects them as objects and combines them in unique ways.
