Ishita graduated in painting Sir J. J. School of Arts, Mumbai, continued with a Diploma in Cinematography, Digital Academy, Mumbai and did her Masters in  Fine Arts, Chelsea College of Arts, UAL, London. Her work has been pary of Broken Diorama at Dublin Art Book Fair 2018, Red Mansion Prize exhibition at Ruskin College of Arts, Oxford, 2017 and London funded by ACAVA | Group show at Rebooted Gallery, Beijing. She was in residence at Red Mansion Prize residency at Red Gate Gallery, Beijing 2016.

She has performed live at Irregulars Art Fair, Delhi and 6th Online Performance Art Festival, ‘I’d do this all day if I could’ at PEER Gallery, London.
