Meenakshi Dravid is an architect based in Pune. A recent Los Angeles export, Meenakshi was hon- ing her craft at the architectural practice of Frank Gehry. She currently acts as one half of AADI de- sign, an interdisciplinary design practise she helped co-found.
As an architect, the interaction between space and people has always been a prime concern. On similar lines, her artistic interest in exploring geometrical objects by playing on materiality, layering and scaling. With a rather Magritte inspired outlook, the focus lies in the obfuscation of obvious ge- ometries and understandings through analogue and digital mediums. The employment of various media allows her to observe the opportunities created for engagement and interaction with the visuals.

A firm believer of culture jamming, she experiments with simple geometric identities bashed with whimsical ideas as a form of narrative.
