Himanshu Pandey, aka United Machines, has taken a path less-trodden as far as his music career is concerned.

The producer and DJ has come to be known as much for his obsession with music equipment as for his impromptu improvisations during his live performances. As far as the equipment goes, his fascination began decades ago while he was still trying to find a way to be a solo artist in Mumbai’s budding rock scene. But collecting one piece of analogue equipment at a time has seen him amass a collection which is rivalled by few in India.
