Vrushaket Salaskar is a Pune based multi-disciplinary

artist. He holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from B.V.P Col-

lege of Fine Arts. The abstraction of reality caused by the

perception of an individual and the relative nature of the

world intrigues him. As all and any knowledge manifests

only through the experience of a form, it becomes the

protagonist in his artistic inquiry.

He received an award for ‘Excellence in Art’ by the Bom-

bay Art Society, Art Society of India, Prafulla Dahanukar

Foundation and Camlin Art Foundation. Vrushaket has

also been a visual art consultant at Aman Setu and was

involved in developing an integrated fine arts program.

Vrushaket was recently part of the Contexting Pune mi-

cro-residency at TIFA working Studios.
